Disney + Hotstar brought a new annual plan from 499 rupees
Popular video streaming platform, Disney + Hotstar (Disney + Hotstar) has recently made several major changes to its tariff plan for OTT platforms in India. The company is introducing new annual prepaid plans instead of extending existing ones. Until now, Disney + Hotstar used to offer free tires as well as two prepaid annual plans for its users. The VIP plan offered users HD streaming video, Dolby 5.1 audio, single screen content (domestic movies, shows and live games) for Rs 399 per annum.
The Disney + Hotstar Premium plan was priced at Rs 1,499 (365 days), where users could watch 4K quality video, Dolby 5.1 audio and all types of platform content on two screens. In addition, viewers could access premium content by paying Rs 299 per month. But soon these plans are going to change.
According to a report by Live Mint, Disney + Hotstar will offer three new annual subscription plans from now on. These new plans are priced at Rs 499, Rs 699, and Rs 1,499. These new plans will be effective from September 1. Details of these plans are given below.
Disney + Hotstar's 499 taka mobile plan
The validity of Disney + Hotstarr's 499 taka mobile plan is 365 days. With this plan all content can be accessed with HD resolution on a single screen. This plan is a worthy competitor to Netflix's mobile plan.
Disney + Hotstar's 799 taka super plan
Disney + Hotstarr's Rs 799 Super Plan will show all content with HD resolution on two screens. Please note that there is no restriction on the form factor of the devices that can be used.
Disney + Hotstar's Rs 1,499 premium plan
The Rs 1,499 Disney + Hotstar Premium plan offers 4K quality content on four screens.
