Telegram users chat is leaked, find out the solution

Bad news for Telegram users. The popular messaging application has recently faced security issues once again. Royal Holloway, a research team at the University of London, was the first to reveal the security flaws in the telegram. The research team said that the security flaw was due to the weakness of the end-to-end encryption (E2EE) service. Telegram authorities have taken initiative to solve the problem by bringing new updates of the application in a hurry.

Security error in Telegram app

For those who aren't familiar with it, end-to-end encryption is a service that protects our private chats from being taken over by others. The Telegram application also features end-to-end encryption to compete with rival WhatsApp. However, in order to take advantage of this feature, not in general, it is necessary to enable it by separating the telegram users. On the other hand, this facility is generally available in applications like Whatsapp and Signal.

Due to the end-to-end encryption service, no third party other than the sender and recipient can access the user's private messages. Not only that, but the messaging platform itself makes it impossible to access those messages. Since this feature is not normally enabled in Telegram, unscrupulous attackers fall into the trap of stealing user information. A research team at the University of London claims that the attackers have recently dropped the user's message using such a bug problem. There have also been allegations that attackers could change the serial position of the sender and recipient, not just by dropping the message, but by taking advantage of security flaws.

In addition, security vulnerabilities can be exploited by attackers to control the application's automated bots. Android, iOS and the Telegram desktop app have been reported to be manipulating the readable versions of encrypted messages from various rogue individuals and organizations.

After multiple complaints about the security of the app, Telegram has made it clear that they have already resolved the issue. They also claim that every new update of the app is above the security vulnerabilities. By downloading and installing new versions of the app from Google Play Store, Apple App Store or Telegram's own website, users will be completely relieved of security concerns, the company said in a blog post.
